Lots of momentum in the Bitcoin Core App project. I shared the web prototype I started putting together (see video below), and we made good progress on the design for assumeUTXO and the mobile nav. We should be able to wrap those up pretty quickly and then get going with designing out the wallet creation flow.
For the guide, I spent some time with the Fiat over lightning issue. Stephen had put together a great first draft, and I am trying to wrap it up and get it in the guide. I recorded a brief summary video to get feedback, since I may have gaps in my understanding.
Another old issue I picked up is adding diagrams to the multi-key page. These interactions can be a bit hard to follow in text. Diagrams can make this much easier to intuitively understand.
Not too much design work to do for Saving Satoshi right now. But I wanted to share this comparison of how much better Midjourney has gotten in the last year. A year ago, it was impossible to render Holocat catching a mouse. It looks stunning today and you have much more precise control over scenes.
We had two really interesting calls in the community, a design review for Resolvr, and a learning call around covenants. We’ll have follow-up calls for both to continue the conversations.
Another call I’d like to schedule soon is a community call where we can talk about roadmap and getting some initiatives for 2024 rolling. Along with another design huddle.
For the foundation, we’re speaking with a few potential grantees. Hopefully we can get them on board soon. I’m excited to see what they will do.
Quite a lot going on. All good things, with good people. Really enjoying it.
And that’s it for my weekly update.
Peace ✌️
