A few nice things came together this week.
First, the wallet selector page in the design guide is live now. I’m now working on the next page. This one is based on research by Steyn on various send fee scenarios. So I’m extracting everything related into a dedicated page, and adding lots of bits and pieces. Should probably be in good shape by end of next week.
Second, the Wallet Scrutiny redesign is live. Really nice to see this out in the wild. Now let’s see how people use it and what feedback trickles in. Putting something live is never the end, it’s the start of a different phase. Congrats to the team and thanks to all who worked on it.
Third, I wrapped up image generation for Saving Satoshi for now. We now have a decent version of each image. Now we can take a step back and gather feedback, and then decide what to tweak (there are quite a few things still). Here’s a video walkthrough of the whole story experience with thoughts on the visuals.
Time to get back to chapter 4 lesson design, which is about creating a coding tutorial for deriving an address from a private key.
A few more things:
The latest newsletter went out
The Liana call was super interesting (lots of good calls this week)
Chris and Edi had some great ideas for the UI Kit
Nosta now supports live activities
The core app project board is taking better shape
I am continuously impressed by all the cool things people do in this space
There were lots of timely things to do this week that I could not move around. Next week is a bit different, so I can pick a few things to focus on. There’s a really long list, I’ll sit down on Sunday evening, as usual, to create a plan for the week. Makes it a lot easier to stay on target.
It’s going to be a really nice and sunny weekend here. Time to shut down bitcoin brain and hang out with family. Hope you get to relax a bit as well.
